What we collect, which is very little.
This notice explains how OZOZA Technologies handles personal data in connection with this website. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than in the usual defensive boilerplate.
Last updated 11 August 2026
Who we are
This website is operated by OZOZA Technologies, a software company in Nigeria, which is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@pegasus.ng or on 0803 972 4805.
What this notice covers — and what it does not
This notice covers this website only: the pages you are reading and the enquiry routes on them.
It does not cover the Pegasus application itself. When a hotel runs Pegasus, that hotel is the controller of its own guest and staff data, and we act only on its instructions under a separate written agreement. If you are a guest of a hotel that uses Pegasus and want to exercise rights over your data, contact that hotel — it holds the records, not us.
What this website collects
This is a static website. It has no accounts, no database and no server-side processing of its own. In practice that means:
- No cookies. The site sets none at all.
- No advertising or tracking pixels, and no data sold or shared with ad networks — ever.
- No third-party fonts or embedded content. Typefaces are served from this domain, so visiting a page does not announce your visit to anyone else.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes ordinary technical connection data in order to serve pages and to protect the site from attack and abuse — including your IP address, browser user-agent, the pages requested and the time of the request. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. If we later add privacy friendly, cookieless visitor statistics, they will count page views without identifying individuals, and we will update this notice.
The demo request form
The form on this site behaves differently from most, and the difference matters:
It does not submit anything to us, and it does not store anything. Pressing “Send via WhatsApp” assembles the details you typed into a message inside your own browser and opens WhatsApp with that message ready to send. Nothing leaves your device until you press send in WhatsApp yourself. If you close it at that point, we never receive it and no copy is kept.
Once you do send it, the message travels over WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and governed by its own privacy terms, and reaches us as an ordinary chat. From then on we hold what you chose to send — typically your name, role, hotel name, property size, phone number, and optionally your email address and a note about your current difficulties — so that we can reply and arrange a demonstration. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated. If you email us instead, the same applies to the contents of your email.
How long we keep enquiries
We keep enquiry correspondence while a commercial conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up a discussion that resumes later. If you ask us to delete your enquiry, we will do so.
Who else is involved
We keep the list of third parties deliberately short. The ones that can come into contact with your data are:
- Cloudflare — website hosting and network protection.
- Meta (WhatsApp) — only if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp.
- Our email provider — only if you email us.
These providers operate infrastructure outside Nigeria, so contacting us by those routes involves a transfer of your data abroad. We rely on the provisions of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 permitting such transfers to recipients bound by adequate protections. If you would rather not transfer data abroad, call us on the number above instead.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Exercising any of these costs nothing.
Write to hello@pegasus.ng and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data — for example by adding visitor statistics — we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
